What I always

wanted was to send out messages to people. thoughts. things. ideas that i have on how i perceive things in different perspective. it has always been a dream of mine. that is why i took psychology. i thought that if i would want to send a message to someone, even if just a person at a time, i want them to listen, not hear. so im gonna share you all a story of Satan. this story is mainly for Muslims but for all of you non-Muslim readers or Muslims that doesn't know the history of this world according to Islam, i am gonna enlighten or should i say give an "introduction" to this story.

Allah created angels so that they would always follow His orders, do as He ask and bow down to Him. Allah then inform His creations that one day, one of these angels will betray Him. Covered in fear, the angels came to their leader, Iblis, and ask him to pray for them so that they would not betray Allah. unfortunately, he prayed for every other angel except for himself. When Allah created Adam, He wanted all the angels to show a form of respect to His creation by bowing to Adam. Since we humans are made from soil and Iblis was created from fire, he ignored this order and went against Allah. so Allah outcast Iblis, but he had one deal struck with Allah. he said that to let him roam free until Judgement Day, so that he can manipulate Adam's offspring from generation to generation to allow him to bring the corrupted ones to hell together with him. Allowing this, Iblis starts by making Adam disobey Allah and later he and Eve was cast down to earth. So this story is actually a story of a college boy being tricked by Satan, "sons" of Iblis.

It was 5.40 a.m. and the Subuh's athan can be heard inside a college boy's room. so he wanted to wake up to perform prayers but Satan stopped him. he whispered to the boy "You should get up and perform prayers, but you can't pray when you are sleepy. rest 5 more minutes and perform your prayers". so the boy laid back into his bed and fell asleep until 7.50a.m. he realized he was late for class so he just got up, took a quick shower and went to class. Satan was jumping up and down, full of joy. he managed to persuade the boy to neglect Allah's orders.

Coming back from class, it was already 1.50p.m. he was tired but he wanted to perform Dzuhor's prayers. so he proceeded to the bathroom to take a shower first. after the shower, he went and put on some decent clothes and remembered that he haven't printed out his assignments and so Satan took this chance to have a taste of victory once more. " Oh no! you have to go print it! prayer time is up until 4.45. you can pray later. go on! print it now!" so he went and print, and realize the class has already begun. he went straight to class that ended at 4.50, 5 minutes after Dzuhor's time finish. Satan managed a small smile at the end of his mouth but he wasn't as happy as he was that morning.

It has become a routine for this boy to go play basketball every evening but since his assignments needed to be handed in that day, he went back late. so he came to his room and saw the court was full of people. he knew he had to perform Asar's prayer but Satan whispered to him "You gotta go now or you wouldn't have any chance to play! you can pray afterwards". grabbing his pair of shoes, he stormed down the stairs and got back to his room at 7.13p.m., and it's already Maghrib. he skipped another prayer. this time, Satan was quiet. He didn't even grin nor smile.

Heading straight for the showers, he took a long one and came back to his room only to turn on his laptop and played computer games. it took at least 1 hour per game bu that game ended at 8.35p.m, marks the end of Maghrib and the beginning of Isya'. another prayer skipped. Satan was shivering.

He continued playing games and ended around 11.51p.m. Isya' would go on until Subuh the next day which starts around 5.40a.m. He would have been able to pray but he went straight to bed, not wanting to be late for tomorrow's class. at this stage, Satan looked at the boy, shook his head, and walked away. Satan said " My ancestors were outcast because he did not show his respect to Allah's creation, upon Allah's request. They were promised to be thrown into hell. That was a one time thing and he was already promised to be thrown into hell. you humans were told to pray five times a day. pray not to His creations but to Him. and yet, you did not disobey once, nor twice, but five times. I let you think of what the consequences will be for such actions."

I don't know whether this story is fictional or reality but all i know is that, it's not mine. a friend once told me and since i find this story very amusing, i want to share it to people. but i can't share it to people if they only hear the story. i want them to listen to it. since i am writing this down, i don't want people to skimmed through it, i want people to read it. and i hope you people read it.
